Neither of us had much time off work so we decided to honeymoon at Disney Land for a few days. But we didn't mind because we had done lots of traveling over the summer. Last June we went and hiked 30 some miles to and from Havasupai. It was beautiful. I'm gonna come out and say that it was probably one of the hardest, and most humbling things i have ever done. About 15 miles into our first day, my feet were covered in blisters as we were trying to find the last waterfall that Nate kept insisting was "just around the corner". I was walkin behind, trying to hurry and wipe the tears before he turned around, tryin my very hardest to "tough it out" for him. Finally he turned around and saw my swollen puffy eyes, and insisted we turn around and go back to camp. So we went back to the tent and slept for a few hours. Then went and swam in some beautiful waterfalls....then went back and slept some more....and then continued our 11 mile hike back to the car at about 4:30 in the am. Then drove the 7 hrs. back to San Diego. It was quite the adventure....all done in about 48 hours.
