Baby Chambers

My best friend, Tamra, gave birth to a perfect little girl, yesterday at 7:34pm. Her name is Eloise and she is gorgeous!! I could not be more excited for Tamra and Eric and I know they're going to be amazing parents! Welcome Eloise Diane Chambers! I love you so much!

We had a great week, with lots of fun things to do! Thursday night, our friends invited us to go to the Astros game with them. Friday, we took the kids to the Strawberry Fields, and Saturday we went swimming again. Oh, and Friday night we had friends over for dinner, and Saturday night we had friends over for dessert. :) Lots of eating! As usual! But once again, it was a fabulous week, spent with fabulous friends!

Charlie is growin so fast! He's now 18lbs. He is sleeping a lot less during the day, and much more alert. He loves to play and loves being entertained. It doesn't take much to make him giggle. All I have to do is move my fingers up his belly. He's such a happy baby! We've started him on solids this week and I still can't really tell if he likes it. But we're workin on it! He's been practicing sitting up on his own. Today he lasted quite a while, without falling over. Well, long enough for me to snap a few pictures, anyway. :)

The weather this week has been unreal! Which isn't normal, considering in a few weeks it'll be too hot to even go outside! But we're definately taking advantage of this nice weather, while we can. This morning, my friend Jacquelyn and I, got up early and went for a run. I've never been a big runner, but these past few weeks, I've really been enjoying it! I think I'm just lovin the hour I have to myself, to listen to music, or chat with a friend. And I feel like its been a great way to clear my head and start my day off right! Jacqs and I also enjoyed relaxin by the pool with the kiddos, both yesterday, and today. Her parents live close by and have an awesome pool! And it has a giant step for the kids to play on, which works out great for the little ones! Her parents even heated the pool for us! It was pretty much like bath water. Actually, exactly the temperature of bath water! We joked, because it was almost borderline too hot, for how warm it was outside. But it was still so nice, and I know the babies enjoyed it! I have so much fun hanging out with Jacqs! She is always up for anything, even with 3 small boys! The other day we went to dinner with Jacquelyn, her hubs, and the kids, and as were leaving and watching Jacquelyn juggle all three kids, Nate said, "Jacquelyn really is amazing!" And It's so true! She is the sweetest, most patient, mom I know and I'm so glad we're friends!

We were so excited that our friend Jana and her little girl, Ashtyn came to play with us!

Austin was very busy, cleaning the outdoor furniture!
