Our Sadie girl just turned 15 months and has grown up so much. She acts like a little girl now, not a baby. I joke about her being high maintenance but she really is a sweetheart. She loves her family and is always giving us affection. Including her brother! Every chance she gets, she lays her head on him and gives him kisses. Sadie loves to be active. I don't know how she does it but this girl never stops movin! She always wants to go outside and especially loves playing in the car. We have a DVD player in our car so even when we're home, she likes to sit out there and watch her movies. It's pretty hilarious! She also LOVES to go play with her cousins. Whenever I tell her were gonna go play with Brooke and Peyton or Austin and Kayla, she starts laughing out of excitement and grabs her shoes and runs to the door. I have to be careful not to tell her too early or she'll be standing by the door crying, while I'm still getting ready. I love this age because you just never know what cute thing they're gonna do next!

Charlie- 2 months
Our little man is two months already! I thought time flew with Sadie but it really does now that we have two! I feel bad sometimes cause Sadie consumes so much of our day and poor Charlie just sits back and waits patiently for some attention. He is such an easy baby. I think he just knows he has no choice but to be easy because his sister is such high maintenance! :) Charlie rarely cries. Even when he wakes up hungry, he just tosses and turns till I come get him. He's still a very good eater and is packin on the pounds! We love our Charlie boy and are so grateful that he's our baby!

Christmas
Since my family was already here for Brittany's wedding, they decided to stay an extra week and join us for Christmas. My niece, Emma, even flew in so she could be with us, as well. Sadie loved having her cousin here to play with! Emma is so sweet with her! On Christmas Eve, Sadie fell asleep on our way home from our friends house, so Emma and I were left to make the cookies for Santa and she was so excited to find that he had left her a note the next morning, thanking her for the milk and cookies.

We had such a wonderful Christmas, and I hope all of you did too!

Christmas Eve
This year, our friends invited us to spend Christmas Eve with their family. It was one of the best Christmas Eves I have ever had. We made our own pizzas and had some delicious lasagna. Along with yummy cheese dips and desserts. After dinner, the kids made "Jesus Cakes". I had never heard of this, until Nate's cousins mentioned that they did it every year, growing up. It is such a cute idea and I think the kids really enjoyed making them! The kids also acted out the nativity story. I was a little hesitant when I heard we were doing this, because I didn't think the kids could focus long enough to do it, but it actually turned out really cute! Then we sang songs and Julie read a Christmas story. We even had a special visit from Santa! It was so fun watching the kids reaction, and I even got excited when I saw him at the door. I felt like we really got into the Christmas Spirit this year and I am so grateful to the Harris' for letting us be apart of it!

Wedding Week
As most of you know, my little sister got married two weeks ago, to a guy she met while living with me last summer. They were married in the Houston Temple. The week before the wedding, the girls and I took Britty to dinner for a little bachelorette party. We went to this place called Taisho, where the chef cooks right in front of you. We had a great time! Afterwards we went back to our friends house to open some nauty gifts and have some cake. All of which, I am not posting pictures of, in order to keep the blog "kid friendly". :) We laughed ALOT and had a great time!

The wedding was perfect in every way and Britty looked SO beautiful! I am so happy for Brittany and Jacob!

Charlie's Blessing
The week of Thanksgiving, Nate's parents and sisters were in town, so we decided it would be the perfect time to bless Charlie. Nate gave him the most beautiful blessing and I feel so blessed to have a husband who honors his priesthood and is worthy to give our children a Priesthood Blessing. And we are so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family, here in TX, that can stand in the circle with Nate.

Nothin Says "I love you", Like a Shattered Mirror!
I'm always trying to describe to people how funny Nates reaction is when Sadie wakes up in the middle of the night. As soon as he hears her on the monitor, he FLYS out of bed. I've never seen anyone move so quickly! Even if I wanted to be the one to get up with her, there's no way I could beat him to it.
The other night I woke up to Sadie screaming, followed by a very loud bang! Nate had jumped out of bed so quickly, that he ran into the closet mirror. In his defense, he was very tired and delirious. The next morning, I woke up and noticed that the mirror was shattered. I couldn't help but laugh, and I still laugh everytime I think about it. I'm sure Nate will be very embarassed when he finds out that I put this on our blog but I think everyone can agree, It's very sweet that Nate loves his little girl so much! He just doesn't ever want to see her sad. :(
