Big Day!

So yesterday, Nate took Sadie for a walk, so I could get some stuff done around the house. When he came back, he told me about how Sadie stood up, without the help of anything or anyone. He said that he set her on the grass, which she didn't like so much, so the only solution was to stand up. I was very excited but sad that I missed it. So what did I do this afternoon? I took her to the soccer fields near our house and we sat on the grass together. :) Within a minute she was standing herself up.

She also said her first word last night. It was a big day for us! Nate is one lucky daddy, cause her first word was dad. I asked her last night where dad was, and she looked over at Nate, then Nate said "Dad" and she repeated it. It was pretty awesome! We've got her to say it a few more times since then.
I also discovered, today, that she has finally cut a tooth! Which explains a little fussiness the past few days. Our girl is growin up way too fast! But it sure is fun watchin her!
