Our cousins little boy, Austin, turned 4 this week and all the Weavers got together on Super Bowl Sunday, to celebrate. And it worked out great cause Austin specifically asked for a football party. I love this kid so much! And have since the day we moved to TX. He always makes me laugh and is the sweetest thing you could possibly imagine! Not to mention, he is so good with my kids and shows them so much love! It's crazy to think that we moved here 2 months before his second birthday and now he's already 4 and so grown up!

Nate picked out a special baseball mit and ball for Bubba

Here's Austin with his cousin Brookie. They are so sweet together!

My two favorite little men

Katelyn lookin so grown up, holdin Charlie

Nate's parents came for a quick visit, so they were able to go to Austins party with us. Grandpa LOVED his Charlie boy! Those two were inseparable all weekend!

They even got to take a quick snooze together. (I love that Grandpa is using George as a pillow!)

Nate's cousin, Chelsey, and I, munchin on all the yummy super bowl food

In honor of Super Bowl, and Austin's party, I decided to try out this dip that I found on pinterest. It actually turned out really yummy and very addictive!

I also got some random pics of the kids this week....

Sadie built her first tower, all by herself. It was a very proud moment for us, because usually we build them for her, and then she runs over and knocks them down. :)

Sadie loved going to Acadamy sports to pick out Austins baseball mit. She got to play with all the balls, and even tried on a few helmets.

And she loved every minute she got to spend with her Grandma!!

Sadie also spent some time over at her friends house this week. She got to watch a movie and have popcorn with Trey and Lincoln

And Charlie got to hang out with his buddy, Shane

Me and my boy

And that about sums up our week...

More pics of my cute babies.

Tuesday, January 24, 2012

I don't want to brag, but I have the best little boy in the whole world! I can't think of a better word to describe him other than, perfect! Julie told me today that I should probably stop having kids cause they don't get any easier than Charlie. Which might be true. This boy rarely cries, and sleeps 8-10 hrs every night without waking up once, and has since he was about 6 wks old. I usually have to come in around 7 or 8 and wake him up to eat. Same with his naps. Alot of times I wake him up just cause I miss him and don't want him to sleep anymore. And he is the best cuddler! He's not picky about how he's held, as long as he's snuggled in close and feelin the love. I am so obsessed with both my babies. Sadie is the cutest/ sweetest thing, and I have a permanent smile on my face, when I'm around her. My kids complete me and I can't imagine life without them.

This lil' man is gonna be 3 months next week!

I'm not the only one that loves this boy!

Love those undies!

So as you probably could tell, I've been taking lots of pictures lately. Nate got me the new iPhone 4s for Christmas. I'm a little obsessed! Nate tells me I'm almost as obsessed with my kids, as I am with my phone. Not true! They're just so cute, I can't help myself! And it's just so easy to take pictures, since I always have my phone on me.

So on that note, here are some pics from this past week... (Just a few) ;)

We had friends over to watch the game...

Hangin out with my cute, pregnant bf!

Check Ups

Two babies+ two check ups= torture! Sadie was due for her 15 month appointment, and Charlie for his 2 month. So naturally I thought it only made sense to schedule them together. Never again!!! It felt like we were in a torture chamber! Sadie was screaming because she wanted to get out of the room/ wanted to get into every cupboard and poor Charlie is sprawled out naked on the table, freezing, while mom is trying to control his sister. Then to top it all off, Sadie fell off of the table! I was trying to get Charlie dressed and didn't notice her trying to slide off. I think she just didn't quite anticipate how far the drop was, cause half way down she let go and fell backwards. She was beside herself. And in the middle of all this, the nurse came in to do shots. I finally just decided Sadie wasn't gonna get any. I wasn't gonna torture the poor girl anymore. But it didn't really matter because she still got just as upset watching her brother get his. Finally it was all over, and time to go home!! I later found out my friend Cristina was there for her girls 9 month checkup. She said she thought she heard Charlie and Sadie crying and wanted to come help but wasn't positive it was us. I'm just glad it's all over and I'll definitely be taking one at a time, from now on.

Aside from all the chaos, there was about 5 minutes, when the doctor was doin her thing, and everyone was calm. I think it's because Sadie was fascinated with her Stethoscope. She even took it from the doctor and put it around her neck. The doctor and I got a good laugh.

Sadie's 15 month stats:
Weight: 22lbs 5oz
Height: 30 1/2 in

Charlie's 2 month stats:
Weight: 12lb 2oz
Height: 22 1/4 in

I love every moment with my babies! Even the crazy ones, that make me want to pull my hair out!!

Charlie at 2 months. Grandma Kay loves to send the kids cute outfits and this was the most recent one she sent him. I love it!

Here are a few pics of my little diva, who likes constant attention, whether it's taking things she's not suppose to, and hiding under the table, climbing into her brothers swing, or turning dad into her own little pony ride.

She even gets lots of attention from our friends, Tamra and Eric

Nine months out of the year might be complete torture, but the 3 months of winter actually make living here, bearable! Today the high was 72, with a nice cool breeze. It was beautiful! We started off the day with a nice walk at oyster creek park, followed by a picnic with friends. Can't think of anything better!

Not only did Sadie get to go for a walk with her cousins, Brookie, Reese, and Jackson, but she also got to play with her friends, Lincoln and Trey. It was an eventful day for my little social butterfly!

Sadie tried to feed her brother his first cheerio. It was really sweet till she started shoving it in his mouth. That's when Momma had to intervene!

Charlie- 2 months

Our little man is two months already! I thought time flew with Sadie but it really does now that we have two! I feel bad sometimes cause Sadie consumes so much of our day and poor Charlie just sits back and waits patiently for some attention. He is such an easy baby. I think he just knows he has no choice but to be easy because his sister is such high maintenance! :) Charlie rarely cries. Even when he wakes up hungry, he just tosses and turns till I come get him. He's still a very good eater and is packin on the pounds! We love our Charlie boy and are so grateful that he's our baby!

Our Sadie girl just turned 15 months and has grown up so much. She acts like a little girl now, not a baby. I joke about her being high maintenance but she really is a sweetheart. She loves her family and is always giving us affection. Including her brother! Every chance she gets, she lays her head on him and gives him kisses. Sadie loves to be active. I don't know how she does it but this girl never stops movin! She always wants to go outside and especially loves playing in the car. We have a DVD player in our car so even when we're home, she likes to sit out there and watch her movies. It's pretty hilarious! She also LOVES to go play with her cousins. Whenever I tell her were gonna go play with Brooke and Peyton or Austin and Kayla, she starts laughing out of excitement and grabs her shoes and runs to the door. I have to be careful not to tell her too early or she'll be standing by the door crying, while I'm still getting ready. I love this age because you just never know what cute thing they're gonna do next!

Christmas

Since my family was already here for Brittany's wedding, they decided to stay an extra week and join us for Christmas. My niece, Emma, even flew in so she could be with us, as well. Sadie loved having her cousin here to play with! Emma is so sweet with her! On Christmas Eve, Sadie fell asleep on our way home from our friends house, so Emma and I were left to make the cookies for Santa and she was so excited to find that he had left her a note the next morning, thanking her for the milk and cookies.

We had such a wonderful Christmas, and I hope all of you did too!

Christmas Eve

This year, our friends invited us to spend Christmas Eve with their family. It was one of the best Christmas Eves I have ever had. We made our own pizzas and had some delicious lasagna. Along with yummy cheese dips and desserts. After dinner, the kids made "Jesus Cakes". I had never heard of this, until Nate's cousins mentioned that they did it every year, growing up. It is such a cute idea and I think the kids really enjoyed making them! The kids also acted out the nativity story. I was a little hesitant when I heard we were doing this, because I didn't think the kids could focus long enough to do it, but it actually turned out really cute! Then we sang songs and Julie read a Christmas story. We even had a special visit from Santa! It was so fun watching the kids reaction, and I even got excited when I saw him at the door. I felt like we really got into the Christmas Spirit this year and I am so grateful to the Harris' for letting us be apart of it!

Britty and Jacob fresh off the honeymoon!

Nate was the Narrator, Charlie was Baby Jesus, Emma was Mary, Austin was Joseph, and Jacob was the Inn Keeper.
