Sadie Bug

Last night we went to our ward's "Trunk-or-Treat". Sadie dressed up as the cutest little lady bug. She had so much fun walkin around with her friends and cousins. It was so fun seeing the kiddos in their adorable costumes!

25th bday

The big 2-5 has definitely been good to me, so far. I had such a wonderful birthday and was spoiled by my friends and family. The girls took me to lunch at pappasitos, followed by a little date night with the hubs. (thanks Sally for watching the Sadster!) Nate and I were going to go out to dinner but I was still sooo full from pappasitos, (even 6 hrs later). So instead we went and browsed the mall. It was nice just to have a little alone time. Saying I was spoiled, might be a little bit of an understatement. Nate surprised me with a new car and a purse. We had been talking about how we needed a bigger car. Especially since I could barely fit my double stroller in the back of mine, let alone anything else! I just didn't think i would get it this soon. You could say I was pleasantly surprised! Im so lucky to have such a wonderful husband. I don't know what I did to deserve him!
My stylin new ride

My new purse :)

And my adorable Anthropologie jacket from my favorite mother-in-law! Thanks momma Kay!

I am one lucky girl!

2 Years!

Just in time for our two year anniversary on Monday, I finally got some of our engagement photos! A family friend had taken some pictures of Nate and I and she made a beautiful book for us, but it wasn't until now that I actually got the pictures on a disc. Alot of them I had never seen so it was really fun to go through them and think about how much our lives have changed since then. Two years later, we have an amazing job, our first home, a beautiful daughter, and a little boy due any day! I could not have picked a better man to spend my life with and I definitely couldn't have picked a better father for my children! I love you Natey!!
Here are a few of the pics...2 yrs later. :)

And speaking of my wonderful husband...I was thrown the most amazing baby shower today, by the greatest friends a girl could ever have! (blog post coming soon), but as part of the shower, Julie had Nate write me a little poem, and she read it aloud at the shower. It was so sweet and the perfect touch to an already PERFECT shower! I cried a little and laughed a lot! The poem went a little like this...

Sadie's 1 year Milestones

*At her 1 yr check up, she was 19lbs, 14 oz. (25%), and her height was 29in (40%)
*Sadie is officially a pro at walking. She took her first steps around 10 months, and was walking pretty well by 11. She always wants to walk, which makes it hard to put her in a grocery cart or a high chair at a restaurant.
*She's started saying a few more words, other than Momma and Dada. Whenever she wants something or is interested in something, she points at it and says, "This!" *She also says "ya", while movin her head up and down. It's really cute!
*She also says a few phrases, at least we think she's saying..., "There it is", and "I did it". She says both of them all the time, and the words are kind of muffled but they're phrases we always say to her so we're assuming that's what she's saying back. :)
*She is a very funny eater. One day she'll like something, the next she won't. But there are a few "go to" foods that I know she'll always eat...Mac and cheese, quesadilla, apple cinnamon oatmeal, and cream of wheat. She is a very delicate eater. She doesn't like to get messy and only puts one little piece of food in her mouth at a time. If I stick somethin in her mouth, before she's done chewing the last one, she'll spit it all out, and start again. Meals are not quick in our house!
*Sadie is definitely a daddies girl! She cries when he leaves for work and she's so excited when he gets home. Everytime he walks in the door, she gives him a hug and then walks straight over to her wagon and sits down, letting him know she's ready for her wagon ride. And of course he can't resist her cuteness so he changes his clothes and takes her for a ride. It melts my heart everytime! I just love how much they love eachother!
I took this picture while Nate was changing. Sadie had just woken up from a nap..hence the bed head and no pants.

Here's a pic of Sadie with her cousins, this weekend. She loves going to Peytons soccer games!

I've been horrible with the belly pictures, but here's a pic of the belly at 35 wks. Can't wait to meet our boy!

My Baby Girl Turned One!

Sadie celebrated her first birthday on September 20th. I can't believe a year has already gone by. Nate and I love her so much and tell eachother everyday, how lucky we are that she's our daughter. Before we left on vacay, our very talented friend, Forrest Harris, took some one year old shots of Sadie. Here is a little sneak peak of some of them...more to come later.
